QB – Philip Rivers (LAC) at OAK – ($8,200)
With all the aches and pains coming from Oakland, it seems like as good of time as ever to fire up a QB against the Raiders. While Philip Rivers doesn’t boast the highest ceiling, he has posted 20+ fantasy points five times this season. With the Chargers implied to score 30 points in this game, all signs point towards Rivers having a very productive day.
RB – Melvin Gordon (LAC) at OAK – ($8,900)
Melvin Gordon proved his hamstring was a non-factor last week by rushing for 113 yards. With the Raiders ranked bottom three in run defense, this sets up for a great smash spot for Gordon. Given the implied team total and Gordon’s red zone prowess, it’s almost certain he’ll find the end zone. Instead of paying up for Todd Gurley, it makes sense to pivot down to Gordon, who is just as promising and arguably in a better position this week.

RB – Alvin Kamara (NO) at CIN – ($8,800)
Week 10 offers a cluster of top RBs in the $8,800 to $9,000 range. Hunt ($9,000), Gordon ($8,900), and Alvin Kamara ($8,800) are all elite options with extremely high ceilings. Todd Gurley is an extremely costly ($10,800). In playing around with lineup builds this week, it makes slightly more sense to afford two top RBs than pay down for your RB2 by fitting Todd Gurley into your lineup. At $10,800, Gurley needs to post 32 points to pay 3x his price point. While it’s certainly possible this week, it’s still hard to expect such quality production from Gurley on a weekly basis. With Kamara being in the highest projected total of the week at 54 points, it’s hard not to lock him into your lineups this week.
WR – Tyler Boyd (CIN) vs. NO – ($7,800)
With A.J. Green out for two weeks, Tyler Boyd is now sitting in a pool of targets. The Bengals-Saints game boasts the highest projected total of the week at 54 points. With the main slate posting only a few promising games, it makes the most sense to jam Boyd into a majority of your lineups. With double digit targets being a near lock, Boyd’s floor / ceiling combo is higher than any other WR this week.
WR – Corey Davis (TEN) vs. NE – ($5,800)
Taywan Taylor and Tajae Sharpe are both listed as questionable for the Titans. If Corey Davis didn’t have enough of the Titans target share already, he surely will now. Playing from behind in a game where the Titans will be forced to abandon the run, Davis looks to a premiere spot. Whether or not he can find the end zone is the real question here. However, it may not matter all that much when considering Davis should see double digit targets.
WR – Marquez Valdes-Scantling (GB) vs. MIA – ($5,400)
With the loss of Geronimo Allison, Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s stock has risen nicely. Averaging 7 targets over the past four weeks, at a mere $5,400, Valdes-Scantling makes for a great value WR this week. With the Packers at home and implied to score 29 points, there should be ample opportunity for Valdes-Scantling to return his affordable cost.
TE – David Njoku (CLE) vs. ATL – ($5,400)
David Njoku may go a bit overlooked this week after disappointing in week 9. Duke Johnson blew up and scored 2 TDs. The Browns new offensive coordinators clearly want Johnson to be a key part of their offense, but that shouldn’t scare you away from playing Njoku this week. On an off week, Njoku still saw 5 targets. His matchup this week is extremely promising against a Falcons secondary that has continually been torched by opposing pass catchers. Fire up Njoku once again and expect a nice bounce back spot from him.
FLEX – Mike Davis (SEA) at LAR – ($5,800)
With Chris Carson set to miss this game, Mike Davis becomes an elite value play at the RB position. Last time Davis suited up without Carson alongside, he posted a 21 / 101 / 2 stat line. With his promise in both the running and passing game, game script should be a non factor for Davis. Expect a nice floor this week as he functions as a true all purpose back.
DEF – Packers (GB) vs. MIA – ($3,900)
The Packers have posted respectable defensive fantasy totals in half of their games this season (7+ points). At home, as 10 point favorites, all signs point towards the Packers being a nice value play this week. With the Dolphins ranking bottom ten in both pass and rush offense, little threat lurks over the Packers defense. Considering the Dolphins run offensive plays at a very slow pace, getting down early will not be conducive to their normal offensive strategy.
