NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (ankle) “hopes to play” in Week 3.
Fantasy Impact: Cook missed practice all week with his ankle injury. And although he “hopes to play” in Sunday’s pivotal matchup with the Seahawks, “it’s no sure thing that he does.” Per Rapoport, even if Cook is active, expect him to be “extremely limited.” Alexander Mattison is next in line to shoulder the workload if Cook is out or is indeed limited. The Vikings also promoted Ameer Abdullah to the active roster on Saturday, further suggesting that things are not looking great for Cook.
