According to Demetrius Harvey of jacksonville.com, Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said that signing WR DeAndre Hopkins is not considered a reality at this time.
Fantasy Impact: Pederson praised his WR room, saying it would be hard to add someone of Hopkins’ caliber and that he is pleased with his existing group. Jacksonville is expecting the return of WR Calvin Ridley who could be the team’s potential WR1 during the expected ascent of QB Trevor Lawrence. As well, the Jaguars have WRs Christian Kirk and Zay Jones, who excelled in 2022. They also added rookie WR Parker Washington during the draft. While it wouldn’t be unfathomable to bring in Hopkins, Pederson did not make it seem as though a pairing was likely.
