NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins (ribs) “will attempt to play” in Week 3.
Fantasy Impact: Deemed a game-time call, Rapoport is suggesting that Hopkins will try to play through the ribs injury. One of the most durable wideouts in the NFL, Hopkins has only missed two games in his nine-year career and hasn’t missed one since 2019 in Houston. If Hopkins is indeed up, he will likely get Shaquill Griffin in coverage. Keep in mind the situation for Hopkins. Not only should you monitor reports leading up to game time in case he will play with limitations, but facing the Jaguars, he could be a decoy or taken out early if the Cardinals dominate this game. Still, if Hopkins is active, it will be hard to sit him.
