According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, New York Giants rookie WR Jalin Hyatt has received a slow integration into the offense, working with the 3s in minicamp as he learns to be a pro wide receiver.
Fantasy Impact: One of Hyatt’s biggest knocks coming out of Tennessee was the simplistic offense and role in which he played during college. While Hyatt’s ability to keep up physically isn’t a question, he’s joining an offense that is predicated on timing and route concepts that he didn’t do in college as often. As he learns the system better, it’ll be a story to watch during July’s training camp, as he has a large number of veterans ahead of him he would need to unseat – Darius Slayton, Isaiah Hodgins, Parris Campbell, Wan’Dale Robinson, Sterling Shepard and Jamison Crowder.
