Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jets have activated WR Jamison Crowder who should make his season debut for the team in Week 2 vs the Patriots.
Fantasy Impact: Getting Crowder back is a big deal for the Jets as right now outside of Corey Davis there isn’t a lot of veteran leadership on the offense to help out rookie QB Zach Wilson. Given the Jets’ struggles in Week 1 to put up points and move the football this should be a welcomed addition that gives the offense a few more options. Crowder has lead the Jets in receptions and receiving yards the last two years and should be a focal point for the team yet again. For fantasy football purposes this more than anything hurts rookie WR Elijah Moore who will be playing behind Crowder and also struggled in Week 1. This week’s matchup vs the Patriots is not an ideal one for Crowder however so even though he might have flex PPR appeal during the year this might not be the week to rely on him.
