NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting Jets WR Jamison Crowder (groin) is expected to play in Week 2.
Fantasy Impact: Despite the fact that Crowder was inactive last week (COVID) and limited this week in practice with his groin, the expectation is that the veteran slot receiver will be on the field against New England. With Corey Davis the de facto No. 1 option for Zach Wilson, the target-reliant Crowder might be a risky fantasy play facing a Patriots team that he’s hung a pedestrian 18/158/1 line on in five career games. One of the lowest point totals on this week’s slate (43), it would be wise to look elsewhere for fantasy purposes.
