Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) advised to rest injury and unlikely to play

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, DE Jason Pierre-Paul received a second opinion on his shoulder injury and was advised to rest making it unlikely for him to play for the Bucs this week

Fantasy Impact: Pierre-Paul has played every snap for the Bucs up until this point and is an important starter for their defense. With Pierre-Paul getting a second opinion on his shoulder injury this could suggest a conservative approach in regards to his health in order to see if surgery can be avoided which would result in a long-term absence. Pierre-Paul’s status will have to be monitored going into the next few weeks to see how his shoulder reacts.
