Joe Mixon does not play in first preseason game

Joe Mixon did not suit up for the Bengals in their first preseason game against Green Bay Friday.

Fantasy Impact: Mixon’s absence was not a surprise as the team opted to sit the majority of their staters. The 27-year-old veteran registered 814 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 210 carries, as well as 441 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 60 receptions last season. Mixon currently ranks as the RB12 in ECR and should retain his typical fantasy value based on his work in the passing game.
