Kadarius Toney can be “one of the best receivers in the league,” according to quarterback Patrick Mahomes talking to the Associated Press. Mahomes spoke about Toney’s difference-making ability and how they’re excited to see what he can do with a full off-season with the team under his belt.
Fantasy Impact: Toney has shown that he can do a lot with very limited work. Though he was not heavily involved in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win, he had both a 65-yard punt return and a touchdown playing very few snaps. He’s the type of player offenses want to get the ball to, but his problem has been staying healthy. If he can become the clear-cut WR1 for Kansas City, he’ll be an extremely valuable fantasy asset.
