Barring any overnight setbacks, Lions QB Matthew Stafford is expected to start against the Vikings in Week 17 despite battling thumb, ribs, and ankle injuries.
Fantasy Impact: Stafford will gut it out for the final week of the season. Despite his storied injury history, he’s showing a lot of leadership and perseverance, considering the Lions are not in playoff contention. When he’s been on the field he’s been solid, throwing for 23 TD passes and only nine interceptions this season with a QB rating of 95.2.
