Michael Carter rushed for 26 yards on seven carries while catching 4-of-7 targets for an additional 35 yards in New York’s 22-17 loss to the Patriots in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: Carter had a relatively quiet day considering he has taken back over the starting nod in the wake of Breece Hall’s knee injury. The Jets’ rushing offense as a whole didn’t do much with only 15 rush attempts on the day and Carter accounted for nearly half of them. He salvaged his fantasy day in PPR leagues by hauling in four passes for 35 yards and finishing with a double-digit scoring day. Carter will likely cede more work to James Robinson and the latter is worked into the offense but Carter definitely still has more fantasy relevance now than he did in Breece Hall’s shadow.
