According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, Pittsburgh Steelers undrafted rookie FB Monte Pottebaum announced he will retire from the NFL.
Fantasy Impact: Pottebaum signed with the Steelers after going undrafted out of Iowa where he had a limited role with the ball in his hands, just 30 career touches. Pottebaum was the team’s only player listed as a FB headed into 2023, but second-year player Connor Heyward is effectively a FB/TE hybrid and will likely move into the role for the upcoming season.
