The Patriots have hired Jerod Mayo as their next head coach.

Fantasy Impact: Mayo has spent the last five seasons as the team’s linebackers coach. Mayo agreed to a new contract last offseason that established him as the successor to Bill Belichick, which allowed the Patriots to forgo the usual head coach hiring process. Mayo will be officially introduced next week.
