Ray-Ray McCloud III (ribs) heading to injured reserve

San Francisco WR/KR/PR Ray-Ray McCloud III is being placed on the team’s injured reserve list with a rib injury.

Fantasy Impact: McCloud leads the 49ers in kick returns and punt returns while playing a respectable 25% of the offensive snaps as a WR, making him a versatile role player for the 49ers. With no exact replacement, McCloud’s production will likely need to be replaced in aggregate by other players. In Week 13 when McCloud was out, Ronnie Bell handled PR duties and Deebo Samuel handled KR duties, while veteran WR Chris Conley – who signed with the active roster – can fill in as a depth WR.
