Sam Howell to start for Commanders in Week 17

Washington Commanders QB Sam Howell will start in Week 17 despite being benched for Jacoby Brissett (hamstring) due to the veteran’s injury.

Fantasy Impact: Howell gets a second chance at starting in Week 17, as an unfortunately timed hamstring costs Brissett his first opportunity to start a game in 2023. Howell has struggled of late, throwing just one multi-TD game since the start of November compared to a pair of multi-INT games. He still comes in as a solid QB2 option in superFlex because of volume.
