Samori Toure was targeted four times on Sunday night catching just one ball but it was a big one that went for a 37-yard touchdown. Toure made a good adjustment to his route to break open for Aaron Rodgers to find him in the end zone.
Fantasy Impact: With Allen Lazard out and Sammy Watkins ineffective, Toure became the second wide receiver option for Rodgers. The rookie couldn’t hang onto a couple of balls earlier in the game but made a splash play which the Packers’ offense has sorely missed. If Lazard remains out, Toure has likely earned a bigger role in the offense heading into Week 9 against the Lions.
