According to Matt McMullen of chiefs.com, Kansas City Chiefs WR Skyy Moore has been impressive during the team’s offseason training program, showing off on Day 1 of minicamp with multiple catches in 7-on-7 and 11-on-11.
Fantasy Impact: Moore enters his sophomore season after a relatively uneventful rookie campaign. Despite some offseason hype, Moore caught just 22 passes for 250 yards as a rookie, starting just three games. However, he did have a schemed-up TD catch in the Super Bowl. With JuJu Smith-Schuster gone – the leading pass-catcher at WR in 2022 – as well as WR Mecole Hardman, there’s more room for Moore in the offense as an underneath YAC receiver. Moore is attached to a potent offense, but the Chiefs have a somewhat deep receiving crew, despite having no clear WR1, excluding TE Travis Kelce. His current average half-PPR draft position is WR58 as the Chiefs’ offensive pecking order is a mystery yet again.
