New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard said he is right on schedule, maybe a little bit ahead, and is aiming on returning to the field for the start of the season following his ACL injury.
Fantasy Impact: Shepard tore his ACL in September shortly after making his return from a 2021 Achilles tear. Shepard has dealt with injury throughout his career, playing in just 32 games in his last four seasons. Despite this, the Giants re-signed him to a one-year deal with per-game active bonuses to incentivize his return to the field. When healthy, Shepard has been productive, averaging over 53 yards per game and 11 yards per catch. Shepard could be a valuable piece in the Giants’ pass-catching rotation.
