Zach Wilson and the Jets’ offense was kept out of the end zone in Week 2 against the Patriots.
Fantasy Impact: Wilson completed only 19 of his 33 pass attempts for a measly 210 yards. He struggled mightily throughout the day, throwing four interceptions. The rookie signal-caller was unable to lead a single touchdown-scoring drive. Bill Belichick has made a career of making life difficult on rookie quarterbacks and Wilson is just his latest victim. This type of outcome, while certainly disappointing, shouldn’t have come as that big of a surprise. The Patriots have a formidable defense and they did an outstanding job taking away Wilson’s favorite target, Corey Davis. There will be better days ahead, but Wilson is still best viewed as a low-end starter in Superflex and 2-QB leagues.
