As free agent RB Dalvin Cook continues to search for his next landing spot, New York Jets TE Tyler Conklin said there is “plenty of room” in New York for Cook while on NFL Network’s Good Morning America.
Fantasy Impact: The Jets as a rumored location has seemed to pick up steam in the rumor mills recently, with head coach Robert Saleh not being dismissive over the idea of the addition. While Conklin’s statement that there is plenty of room may be fair from a real-world football perspective, the Jets would be an awkward fantasy landing spot. RB Breece Hall enters his sophomore season after an injury-abbreviated rookie year, and the Jets also have a combination of young RBs Michael Carter, Israel Abanikanda, Zonovan Knight and Travis Dye. Cook would definitely play as a Jet, but his role may be more limited than on other teams.
