I hope everyone had a wonderful and meaningful Thanksgiving. Hopefully, your turkeys were as stuffed as Amari Cooper’s stat line. With just a 10-game slate on tap today, let’s get to this week’s best DraftKings picks.
Must-start of the Week: George Kittle ($6,200)
We all know that George Kittle has been having a fantastic season thus far and it should continue versus Tampa Bay’s bottom 5 defense on Sunday. Kittle gets thrown to early and often and should have an awesome outing in Week 12.
Tom Brady ($6,500) and Julian Edelman ($7,000)
Look, these two players are obviously incredible and are in a great matchup versus the Jets’ struggling secondary. The reason why I am listing this combination so high up in the article is that Gronk is apparently ready to go. This should open up the field for Julian Edelman and give Tom Brady more time and better looks in the offense.
Carson Wentz ($5,900) and Zach Ertz ($6,400)
Carson Wentz flat-out busted last week. The Eagles were simply outmatched by a rising New Orleans defense. For this reason, Wentz should be heavily under-owned in a great spot versus the New York Giants Sunday. Pairing him with Zach Ertz is about as safe as a Subaru, since this game should be a shootout.
Cam Newton ($6,200)
Cam Newton’s terrific play this season has gone under the radar, for the most part. He has scored over 20 DK points in all but three games this season and is poised to have a nice game versus Seattle’s struggling secondary at home. Look for the Panthers to bounce back after an embarrassing showing in Detroit. Also consider Lamar Jackson in Week 12.
Matt Breida ($5,700)
This one is a no-brainer and one of my favorite running back plays of the week. Matt Breida gets an awesome matchup against the Bucs this week and should be fully healed after the bye week. Breida should explode this game.
Tyler Lockett ($5,200)
I’m not sure how he does it at his size, but Tyler Lockett has been extremely productive this season. Most people don’t realize this but he has only scored under 10 DK points once this entire season. Carolina has already allowed 22 passing scores and with Russell Wilson playing well as of late, look for Lockett to continue his breakout season.
Cameron Brate ($3,600)
Perhaps Jameis Winston’s favorite target, Cameron Brate is back to fantasy relevance after O.J. Howard’s injury. I expect Brate to fill in really nicely and have at least one touchdown in this blowout.
Buffalo ($2,700)
Although I prefer Baltimore, they haven’t inspired much confidence of late. Despite Leonard Fournette being back in the Jaguars’ offense, I expect the Bills to have a solid showing versus the run-heavy Jags. They’re at home and get Allen back as well.
